A new King of Saratoga has been crowned on DerbyWars - congrats to 2017's winner, Tony Calabrese (FunkyMonkey)!

Calabrese, who had 2 entries in the contest, won six head-to-head matchups in a row over 3 weekends of action-packed Saratoga racing to claim his crown. He takes home the $10,000 First Prize, which included a spot in the $50K Travers day contest.

His second entry made it to the Sweet Sixteen round for a $1,250 payoff.

Runner-up in this year's bracket is Mable Roberts (Goldenpineapplers), who scored $51.60 in the Championship round to take down the $5,000 second place prize. Roberts skillfully maneuvered a single entry through the 6 rounds of play!
