Today's Derby contender works included a four furlong bullet from Florida Derby hopeful Dialed In. Rick Dutrow's promising colt Flashpoint also worked on Thursday is expected to go next in the seven furlong Swale or Florida Derby at Gulfstream Park.  

 

#7 Dialed In – 4f bullet in :47.55 (1/19) at Palm Meadows.  

#29 Flashpoint – Breezed 6f in 1:13.75 at Gulfstream Park.

Positive Response is the slight favorite over eleven other 3yo’s in Saturday’s Spiral Stakes at Turfway Park. Astrology heads a field of 11 for Sunday’s Sunland Derby. Populist Politics is expected to scratch out of the Louisiana Derby in favor of Friday’s Crescent City Derby for LA-breds at Fair Grounds.
