Today's Derby contender works included a five furlong breeze from Louisiana Derby hopeful Mucho Macho Man. Santiva, runner-up to Mucho Macho Man in the Risen Star Stakes, worked five furlongs at Palm Meadows. The Factor and Sway Away turned in strong moves at Santa Anita and they could both show up next in the March 19 Rebel.   

 

#3 Mucho Macho Man – Breezed 5f in 1:00.80 (7/34) at Gulfstream Park.

#6 Santiva – 5f in 1:02.80 (2/19) at Palm Meadows.

#12 Sway Away - Went 7f in 1:23.60 (1/3) at Santa Anita.

#28 Flashpoint – 4f breeze in :48.30 (9/53) at Gulfstream.

#31 The Factor - Bullet 6f move in 1:12.20 (1/12) at Santa Anita.

#32 Caleb’s Posse – 5f in 1:01.40 (4/24) at Oaklawn Park.
