Today's Derby contender works included a shared five furlong bullet from stablemates Uncle Mo and Stay Thirsty. The latter is expected to make his three-year-old bow in the Gotham Stakes on March 5. The two-year-old champ kicks off his season in the Timely Writer at Gulfstream on March 12.     

 

#1 Uncle Mo – Went 5f in 1:00.60 (1/36) at Palm Meadows.  

#6 Brethren – 4f breeze in :49.40 (12/48) at Palm Meadows.

#19 Stay Thirsty – 5f co-bullet in 1:00.60 (1/36) at Palm Meadows.   

#28 Sweet Ducky – 6f in 1:13.20 at Palm Meadows.

#30 Dance City – Breezed 4f in :49.60 (20/48) at Palm Meadows

#59 Free Entry – 4f in :49.40 (12/48) at Palm Meadows.

Notes:

 

Soldat earned a 96 BSF for his Fountain of Youth victory. Flashpoint ran his record to 2-for-2 in a romping Hutcheson score, which netted a 102 BSF. It is possible that the latter will stretch out in distance for the April 3 Florida Derby.
