Tiz the Law holds steady as favorite in Kentucky Derby futures

A week as the sole favorite hasn’t dampened enthusiasm for Belmont Stakes Winner Tiz the Law, who remains the sole favorite in William Hill’s 2020 Kentucky Derby futures. The son of Constitution’s odds remain unchanged at 5/2.

The odds for second place contender, Honor A. P. also remained unchanged at 7/2. The Santa Anita Derby winner was previously tied with Tiz the Law as favorite but dropped to second after Tiz the Law won the Belmont, a race that Honor A. P. did not compete in.

New to the futures odds this week is Dean Martini, the surprise winner of Saturday’s Ohio Derby. The gelding son of Cairo Prince, trained by Thomas Amoss, opened at 125/1.
