Thursday works: Kehoe Beach leads graded winners on tab

Kehoe Beach breezed four furlongs in 46.4 at Keeneland on Thursday morning. It was the second fastest of 39 works at the distance. This marked her first timed work since a layoff.

The 4-year-old daughter of Omaha Beach is trained by Wesley Ward.

Kehoe Beach won the Mrs. Revere (G2) at Churchill Downs on Nov. 29, posting a 93 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form. She placed third in the Jenny Wiley (G1) at Keeneland on April 12. She has a career record of 11: 4-1-1 with earnings of $555,355 for owner Thomas Bachman.

It was the 15th fastest of 41 works at the distance. This was his first work since his last race. In his last start he won the Seabiscuit Handicap (G2) going 1 1/16 miles on the turf at Del Mar on Nov. 29 for trainer Michael McCarthy.

Scythian (Tiz the Law), a Grade 2 winner (2024 Miss Grillo), worked five furlongs in 1:01.8 at Payson Park on Thursday morning. It was the fastest of six works at the distance. Her previous work was seven days ago going four furlongs at Payson Park. In her last start she placed fourth in the Jockey Club Oaks (G3) going 1 3/8 miles on the turf at Aqueduct on Nov. 15 for trainer Bill Mott.

Clock Tower (Not This Time), a Grade 3 winner (2024 Cecil B. DeMille), worked four furlongs in 52.8 seconds at Keeneland on Thursday morning. It was the slowest of 39 works at the distance. His previous work was 31 days ago going four furlongs at Keeneland. In his last start he won the Paradise Creek going six furlongs on the turf at Belmont at the Big A on May 24 for trainer Wesley Ward.

Eclatant (Into Mischief), a Grade 3 winner (2025 Forward Gal), worked three furlongs in 38.0 seconds at Payson Park on Thursday morning. It was the fifth fastest of nine works at the distance. This was her first work since her last race. In her last start she placed fourth in the Leslie's Lady Overnight going seven furlongs on the main track at Churchill Downs on June 8 for trainer Brad Cox.

Himika (Curlin), a Grade 3 winner (2025 Sorrento), worked five furlongs in 1:00.2 at Santa Anita on Thursday morning. It was the second fastest of 36 works at the distance. Her previous work was 18 days ago going six furlongs at Santa Anita. In her last start she placed second in the Desi Arnaz going seven furlongs on the main track at Del Mar on Nov. 16 for trainer Bob Baffert.

Irish Maxima (Maximus Mischief), a Grade 3 winner (2025 Distaff), worked four furlongs in 50.0 seconds at Parx on Thursday morning. It was the 13th fastest of 96 works at the distance. This was her first work since her last race. In her last start she placed 11th in the Ladies Turf Sprint (G2) going 6 1/2 furlongs on the turf at Kentucky Downs on Aug. 30 for trainer John Servis.

Raise Cain (Violence), a Grade 3 winner (2023 Gotham), worked four furlongs in 48.6 seconds at Laurel Park on Thursday morning. It was the fastest of 27 works at the distance. His previous work was six days ago going five furlongs at Laurel Park. In his last start he placed fifth in the Fifth Season going one mile on the main track at Oaklawn on Jan. 25 for trainer Ben Colebrook.

Running Away (Gun Runner), a Grade 3 winner (2025 Monmouth Oaks), worked four furlongs in 50.8 seconds at Keeneland on Thursday morning. It was the 32nd fastest of 39 works at the distance. This was her first work since her last race. In her last start she placed 10th in the Dueling Grounds Oaks Invitational (G3) going 1 5/16 miles on the turf at Kentucky Downs on Sept. 10 for trainer Wesley Ward.

Uncle Heavy (Social Inclusion), a Grade 3 winner (2024 Withers), worked four furlongs in 50.5 seconds at Parx on Thursday morning. It was the 44th fastest of 96 works at the distance. His previous work was 12 days ago going four furlongs at Parx. In his last start he placed fourth in the Pennsylvania Derby (G1) going 1 1/8 miles on the main track at Parx on Sept. 21 for trainer Butch Reid.
