Thursday works: Beauté Cachée, Newgate lead 25 graded winners

Beauté Cachée, who is 2-for-3 in graded stakes this year, worked Thursday morning at Saratoga.

The 4-year-old France-bred mare breezed four furlongs in 50.0 seconds for trainer Chad Brown, the 17th fastest of 30 works at the distance.

Beauté Cachée opened her year with a win in the Grade 1 Jenny Wiley, then was seventh in the Just A Game (G1) before winning the Matchmaker (G3) in her most recent start.

The only other Grade 1 winner on the tab Thursday was Newgate, winner of the Santa Anita Handicap (G1) in March but unraced since finishing ninth in the Dubai World Cup (G1) later that month.
