Thursday works: 18 graded winners are on the tab
Gosger, winner of the Grade 3 Lexington in his first stakes start, had his first work since that race.
The 3-year-old Nyquist colt breezed four furlongs in 48.0 seconds, at Keeneland, 15th fastest of 66 at the distance.
Trained by Brendan Walsh, Gosger debuted in December with a second-place finish in a maiden special weight at Gulfstream Park. He broke his maiden next time out in February in. a special weight then moved on to the Lexington.
Walsh said after the race that the Preakness stakes would be under consideration for Gosger's next start. He opened at 15-1 in the Preakness Future Wager.
