Tamara, the Bolt d'Oro filly who was 2-for-2 before finishing seventh in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies, returned to training Thursday for the first time since that race.
She worked two furlongs in 25.2 seconds on the Santa Anita synthetic, the slower of two at the distance, for trainer Richard Mandella.
After winning her debut, Tamara won the Debutante (G1) by 6 3/4 lengths before her Breeders' Cup loss as the odds-on favorite.
