Raging Sea worked at Churchill Downs on Thursday ahead of a start in next week's Grade 3 Falls City at the Louisville, Ky., track.
The 5-year-old Curlin mare breezed four furlongs in 48.8 seconds, 10th fastest of 35 at the distance. Trained by Chad Brown, Raging Sea won the La Troienne (G1) in May but is 0-for-4 since.
Royal Spa, also entered in the Falls City, breezed four furlongs in 48.2 seconds at Keeneland on Thursday for trainer Rodolphe Brisset. The 5-year-old mare by Violence won the Locust Grove (G2) at Churchill Downs in her most recent start and the Shawnee (G3), also at Churchill, in May.
