Sunday’s Santa Anita Recap: May 31

Edge to early-pressing types (1 wire job: 4.5f) on the fast main track. A flat mile stalker, a downhill wire job, a 9f stalker, and another downhill wire job made up the four firm turf winners (rail at 15 feet).

Rafael Bejarano booted home three winners. Tyler Baze guided home a pair. Richard Baltas saddled two winners and Bejarano rode both. Peter Miller saddled two winners.

On the Sunday Early Pick 3 ticket front (races 1-3), I tabbed all three winners (Jazzy Josh, Gold Journey, Oliver’s Tale). I got home one key horse and the $1 winning 3-4-2 combination returned $10.50 ($17 in total wagers).
