Fast main track and firm turf course. Three wire-to-wire winners on dirt (5f, 6f, 6f). The three turf races were captured by a downhill frontrunner, a flat mile stalker, a downhill closer, and a wire-to-wire winner at one mile (rail at 20 feet).

Hat trick for Edwin Maldonado. Two more wins for leading rider Rafael Bejarano. Trainer Jerry Hollendorfer saddled two winners.

Sunday’s suggested Double/Early Pick 3 tickets produced two Primary winners (TAIMA THE HAWK, FANTASTIC STYLE) and  one Secondary winner (Stormin Trick). The winning $2 Early Daily Double (Races 1-2) ticket paid $22.80, the next $2 Double (Races 2-3) returned $26.40 (had it three times), and the $1 Early Pick 3 ticket (Races 1-3) paid $25.50 (had it twice).
