Hot Rod Charlie's win in the Pennsylvania Derby brought him not only his first Grade 1 win but also the highest speed figures of the weekend.

Running the 1 1/8 miles in 1:48.6 earned the Oxbow colt a 111 Beyer Speed Figure, a number topped this year only by Baby Yoda and Flightline in sprints and Knicks Go in the Cornhusker Handicap (G3).

Midnight Bourbon, who finished second in the Pennsylvania Derby, earned a Beyer of 107 for his effort. His jockey, Ricardo Santana Jr., filed an objection because of an apparent bump from Hot Rod Charlie at the top of the stretch, but the stewards decided to make no change.

The Gallant Bob (G3) win by Jackie's Warrior gave him the second-best figures of the weekend, with a 110 Beyer and a 129 TimeformUS Speed Figure. He covered six furlongs at Parx in 1:08.64.

Hot Rod Charlie's TimeformUS Speed Figure for Saturday's performance was 133, also the best for the weekend.
