Nashville was back to his speedy ways in a Fair Grounds allowance race on Friday, covering six furlongs in 1:08.61 to win by 4 3/4 lengths.

For that, he earned the highest Beyer Speed Figure of the weekend at 102 according to Daily Racing Form. He also got a 100 Brisnet Speed Rating and a 123 TimeformUS Speed Figure, which also was the highest of the weekend.

This was Nashville's third start and first win since he returned from a 13-month layoff after finishing fourth in the 2020 Malibu (G2). In his start before that, he set the Keeneland record for six furlongs in winning the Perryville stakes.

Brisnet's highest rating went to Bob's Edge, who won the six-furlong Whitmore in 1:07.80.
