Newgate's victory in the Grade 3 Robert B. Lewis on Saturday earned him the top speed figures among weekend stakes winners.

With Frankie Dettori riding, he covered the 1 1/16 miles in 1:43.11 to win by a neck over Bob Baffert stablemate Hard to Figure.

The Into Mischief colt registered a 100 Brisnet Speed Rating along with a 100 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form.

The only other stakes winner to get a 100 Brisnet rating last weekend was Touchuponastar, winner of the LA Bred Premier Championship a 1 1/16 miles.

Newgate is a Kentucky Derby prospect but has earned no qualifying points because of Baffert's suspension from Churchill Downs. The colt would have to be switched to another trainer by Feb. 28 to be eligible for Derby points.

Another Derby contender, Rocket Can, earned a 93 Brisnet and 82 Beyer for his win in the Holy Bull (G3). With Junior Alvarado aboard, they covered the 1 1/16 miles in 1:44.97.

Here are the figures for last week's stakes winners, ranked by Brisnet Speed Ratings, with Beyer Speed Figures from Daily Racing Form, where available.
