Last Samurai's win in Saturday's Grade 3 Razorback Handicap at Oaklawn wasn't only his first score since last April, it also earned him the weekend's highest speed figures among stakes winners.

The 5-year-old trained by D. Wayne Lukas took over in the last furlong to win the 1 1/16-mile race by 1 1/2 lengths in 1:42.19 with Cristian Torres riding. The performance resulted in a 105 Brisnet Speed Rating, a 105 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form, and a 125 TimeformUS Speed Figure.
