These are the weekend's 10 fastest stakes winners
Fort Bragg's win by a nose in Saturday's Grade 3 Dwyer earned him top speed figures across the board.
The odds-on favorite, trained by Bob Baffert and ridden by John Velazquez, covered the one-mile distance in 1:35.37, earning a 104 Brisnet Speed Rating, a 106 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form, and a 127 TimeformUS Speed Figure. It was the first win of the season in four starts for Fort Bragg, a 3-year-old son of Tapit.
West Will Power, winner of the Stephen Foster, got a 101 from Brisnet, a 102 Beyer and a 125 TimeformUS figure. Dean Delivers, winner of the Smile Sprint (G3), was last week's only stakes winner with a higher Brisnet, at 102.
