These are last week's fastest stakes winners
The Chosen Vron earned the highest speed figures among last week's stakes winners for his gate-to-wire win in the black-type Tiznow Stakes at Santa Anita on Monday.
The 5-year-old, trained by Eric Kruljac, won by 6 1/2 lengths as the odds-on favorite for his fifth victory in a row. With Hector Berrior riding, he covered the mile in 1:36.16., earning a 101 Brisnet Speed Rating, a 103 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form, and a 122 TimeformUS Speed Figure.
In the only points prep for Kentucky Derby 2023, Confidence Game got a 95 Brisnet, 94 Beyer and 117 TimeformUS for his win in the Rebel (G2). And Wet Paint earned a 89 Brisnet, 83 Beyer and 101 TimeformUS for winning the Honeybee (G3), a points prep for the Kentucky Oaks.
