Minnesota Ready, a 5-year-old gelding with four wins from 22 career starts, earned the highest Brisnet Speed Rating among last week's stakes winners.

With Joel Rosario riding in the 5 1/2-furlong Colonel Power Stakes at Fair Grounds, Minnesota Ready blew past the leader in the stretch to win by 3 1/2 lengths. It was his first start for trainer Tom Amoss after being moved from Neil Pessin, and he earned a 104 Brisnet rating along with a 102 Beyer Speed Figure.

The highest Beyer for last week's stakes winners went to Post Time, who earned a 102 Beyer and 103 Brisnet for his win in the Grade 3 General George at Laurel Park. Trained by Brittany Russell, the 4-year-old Frosted colt has seven wins and a third in eight career starts.
