During a week when much of the attention in racing was featured on Tapit Trice and Secret Oath, the highest Brisnet Speed Rating among stakes winners went to an 8-year-old named Forewarned who hadn't won in his previous nine starts over nearly a year.

Trained by Uriah St. Lewis, he was the winner of the Washington Crossing Stakes at Parx on Tuesday, going one mile and 70 yards in 1:46.16 with Dexter Haddock aboard. (The photo above is from Forewarned's 2021 win in the Queens County Stakes.)

He got a 104 Brisnet rating, a 92 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form, and a 109 TimeformUS Speed Figure.

Secret Oath, winner of the Grade 2 Azeri in her 2023 debut, earned a 97 from both Brisnet and Beyer, as well as a 120 TimeformUS Speed Figure.

And Tapit Trice got a 95 Brisnet, 88 Beyer and 110 TimeformUS for his win in the Tampa Bay Derby (G3), which put him in second place in Kentucky Derby futures. (More on that here.)

The weekend's only triple-digit Beyer went to Frank's Rockette, who got a 101 for his win in the Hurricane Bertie (G3) along with a 96 Brisnet rating and a 121 TimeformUS figure.

Here are the figures for last week's top 20 stakes winners, ranked by Brisnet Speed Ratings, with Beyer Speed Figures from Daily Racing Form and TimeformUS Speed Figures where available.
