These are the 10 fastest stakes winners from last week
Sibelius and Just Might earned the highest Beyer Speed Figures last week for their wins at Gulfstream Park and Fair Grounds, respectively.
Sibelius, a 5-year-old gelding trained by Jeremiah O'Dwyer, won the Grade 3 Mr. Prospector on Saturday for the second year in a row with Junior Alvarado aboard. It was his first win since the Dubai Golden Shaheen (G1) in March.
Just Might, a 7-year-old gelding trained by Michelle Lovell, won the Richard R. Scherer Memorial Stakes after leading at every call with Jaime Torres riding. This was his first win in 10 starts this year.
This report does not include Tuesday's winners on Santa Anita's opening day. But as a preview, Speed Boat Beach earned a 101 Beyer for his win in the Malibu (G1), and Newgrange got a 99 for winning the San Antonio (G2).
