Tamara came out of the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies with a small fracture in her left hind splint bone.

Trainer Richard Mandella told Ron Flatter of Horse Racing Nation about the fracture via text on Sunday. Mandella indicated that the prognosis was good, saying she "should be fine with time off."

Tamara amassed a pair of impressive wins over the summer in a maiden special weight and the Del Mar Debutante (G2). A Spendthrift Farm homebred, she is by their stallion Bolt d'Oro out of hall of fame inductee Beholder. In the Spendthrift colors, Beholder won three Breeders' Cup races including the 2012 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies.

In her attempt to match her dam's feat, Tamara was sent off the 4-5 favorite in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies on Friday. She set the pace through much of the race, but was overhauled in the lane by eventual winner Just F Y I and weakened to seventh.
