Claimed for $32,000 Nov. 4, Talktoomuch is 2-for-2 for her new connections after winning the $44,664 allowance feature Thursday at Hollywood Park.

Continuing her love affair with the local turf course, the 6-year-old daughter of Royal Academy and the Hard Up mare Tattler burst through an opening along the rail at the head of the stretch, going on to prevail by 1 ½ lengths under leading jockey Joel Rosario.

The victory was the sixth in eight tries over the Hollywood Park grass and her third of the Autumn meet. The Kentucky bred scored the day she was claimed away from owners Steven and Susan Woskow and trainer Gary Mandella.

Owned by Indizguys Stable, which includes Jack and Doug Disney, former Los Angeles Times baseball writer Ross Newhan, Paul Salata and former major league catcher and manager Buck Rodgers, and trained by Philip D’Amato, the assistant to Mike Mitchell, Talktoomuch completed the 1 1/16 miles in 1:42.20.

The win was her eighth in 30 starts. She has earned $178,480.

Hemera rallied from last to gain second, a nose in front of pacesetter Michael’s Rose. Westwood Pride, the 4-5 favorite, was a head back in fourth. Bran Jammas and Glory Pride completed the order of finish. Hameildaeme and Roman Lady were scratched.

Talktoomuch, who had been favored in her two previous wins at the meet, paid $9, $5 and $3 as the 7-2 second choice. Hemera returned $4.60 and $3.40. The show price on Michael’s Rose was $5.20.

The Pick Six paid $11,605. An additional $790,165 was wagered Thursday in pursuit of a $106,356 carryover from Sunday.
