C R K Stable’s Switch, a multiple Grade 1 sprint winner, is scheduled to make her Keeneland debut on Saturday when she takes on 10 other fillies and mares in the 31st running of the $200,000 Thoroughbred Club of America (G2) at six furlongs on the main track.

The Thoroughbred Club of America, a “Win and You’re In” race for the Sentient Jet Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint (G1) at Churchill Downs on November 4, will go as the sixth race on Saturday’s 10-race card with a 4:01 p.m. (ET) post time. First post time Saturday is 1:15 p.m.

Trained by John Sadler, Switch ran second in the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Sprint last year at Churchill Downs and followed that effort  with daylight victories in the La Brea (G1) and Santa Monica (G1) at Santa Anita going seven furlongs. Joel Rosario has the mount on Switch, who will break from post position 10.

Among Switch’s TCA rivals is C. R. Trout’s Shotgun Gulch, winner of the Vinery Madison (G1) at seven furlongs here this spring. Shotgun Gulch will attempt to join Informed Decision (2009) as the only runner to complete a Vinery Madison-TCA double in the same year.

Third in the Presque Isle Masters (G2) in her most recent start, Shotgun Gulch will break from post position two and be ridden by Garrett Gomez, who was aboard for the Vinery Madison victory.

The field for the Thoroughbred Club of America, from the rail out, is as follows: Musical Romance (Juan Leyva, 122 pounds), Shotgun Gulch (Gomez, 124), Rapport (Brian Hernandez Jr., 118), Diamond Song (Jamie Theriot, 118), Holiday for Kitten (Julio Garcia, 116), Dances With Ashley (Ramon Dominguez, 118), Promised Mandate (Augusto Marin, 118), Indulgence (Julien Leparoux, 118), Devil by Design (Robby Albarado, 120), Switch (Rosario, 124) and I Knot (Jon Court, 118).
