Super Screener spies value in Saturday’s Fair Grounds stakes

Louisiana Champions day stakes previews included in this weekend's Super Screener indicate a steady stream of logical contenders before things get interesting to close out the added money proceedings.

An all-stakes pick 3 on races 10-12 starts the late pick 4, and races 11 and 12 feature the biggest morning line prices among the top win contenders in this week's Super Screener.

Race 11 is the Louisiana Champions Lassie Stakes, and Super Screener author Mike Shutty sees a swift pace with heavy pressure helping to set things up for either no. 6 Accomodate Eva or no. 2 Sara's Court. The former is 8-1 on the morning line and is "top value" while the latter is 15-1 and "top long shot." Last in the mix is no. 11 Clearly a Test, the "most reliable board-hitter" but also the shortest morning line price of the trio at 7-2.

Each race in Super Screener includes analysis and wagering strategy, and the Lassie is also a part of that late Pick 4, with Shutty using the aforementioned "top win contenders" in varying strengths in the other races. Within this race, Shutty sees the two longer prices as offering value in the win pool while suggesting keying the 11 in vertical exotics.
