Super Screener preview: Big price starts Pick 3 at Tampa Bay
The Minaret Stakes for older fillies and mares begins the late Pick 5 on Saturday at Tampa Bay Downs, a sequence that includes the Grade 3 Sam F. Davis as its penultimate leg and could start with a bang if the Super Screener is correct.

Flag Woman is 15-1 on the morning line and comes in off her lifetime-best performance. Not only does the Super Screener identify her as one of three top win contenders but also both the most reliable board-hitter and top long shot.
"Her last start was her best, as she doled out those 90-plus Brisnet Pace and Speed Ratings dueling throughout but holding on for a hard-fought runner-up finish," Mike Shutty said. "She needed that race and form-cycle-analysis point to a move forward second off the layoff. She projects to sit a great trip in the clear pressing two lengths off the pace in the three path, which is the place to be right now."
Shutty sees Flag Woman as a single in the Pick 3 that continues with the Pelican Stakes and a maiden race. The Sam F. Davis is the fourth leg of the Pick 5 that begins with the Minaret.
