Super Screener: 1 particular horse can rule in Bing Crosby
The Bing Crosby Stakes on Saturday at Del Mar attracted a salty group of Grade 1 sprinters, including 2021 Breeders' Cup runner-up Dr. Schivel. But known names often mean opportunity elsewhere.
Dr. Schivel sports a 3-for-4 record at Del Mar with the lone loss coming in that Breeders' Cup Sprint. One of the three wins coming in this race two years ago. But again, those are the types of data points that attract money, so while Dr. Schivel is a top win contender, the top-value designation landed on no. 7 Anarchist.

This will be the well-traveled Anarchist's fourth track in as many starts. He won a Grade 3 on Tapeta at Woodbine before finishing second to reigning champion and Breeders' Cup Sprint winner Elite Power in the Truth North (G2) on the Belmont Stakes undercard.
"The Doug O'Neill-trained charge has moved forward in his last two starts while competing effectively out east against the likes of Elite Power," Mike Shutty says in this week's Super Screener. "Form-cycle analysis indicates continued form progression in this affair on his way to a new top. He'll have just three lengths to make up on the tiring pace leaders as he comes out of the turn with a lot of that speed coming back to him in a hurry."
The Bing Crosby is part of a stakes double on the Del Mar card that is half the late Pick 4, and this week's Super Screener also includes wagering strategy for that bet, which covers races 8-11.
