Sunday works: Raging Sea leads graded winners on tab

Raging Sea, the two-time Grade 1 winner who most recently placed fourth in the Personal Ensign (G1), breezed four furlongs in 51.0 at Churchill Downs on Sunday morning. It was the slowest of 64 works at the distance. This marked her third timed work since her last race.

The 5-year-old daughter of Curlin is trained by Chad Brown.

Raging Sea won the La Troienne (G1) at Churchill Downs on May 2, posting a 85 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form. She is expected to run next in the Falls City (G3) at Churchill Downs on Nov. 27, which will be the final start of her career. She has a career record of 17: 8-2-3 with earnings of $2,259,318 for owner Alpha Delta Stables LLC.
