Getting in his last workout before next weekend’s Grade 1, $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational at Gulfstream Park, last year’s Pacific Classic winner Mixto drilled Sunday morning at Santa Anita.

Calumet Farm’s 5-year-old Good Magic horse who is trained by Doug O’Neill went five furlongs in 1:01.4 on a fast main track. Coming off his third-place result Nov. 23 in the Native Diver (G3) at Del Mar, Mixto drew the rail post and was made a 10-1 morning-line long shot in the Pegasus field of 12.
