Sunday works: Nysos leads graded winners on tab

Nysos breezed five furlongs in 1:00.6 at Santa Anita Park on Sunday morning. It was the third fastest of seven works at the distance. His previous work came six days ago going five furlongs at Santa Anita Park.

The 4-year-old son of Nyquist is trained by Bob Baffert.

Nysos won the Breeders' Cup Dirt Mile at Del Mar on Nov. 1, posting a 105 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form. Before that, he took the San Diego Handicap (G2) at Del Mar on July 26. He placed second in the Churchill Downs Stakes (G1) at Churchill Downs on May 3.

Nysos has a career record of 7: 6-1-0 with earnings of $1,118,500 for owner Baoma Corp.
