Sunday works: Nevada Beach leads graded winners on tab

Nevada Beach drilled at Santa Anita Park on Sunday ahead of his expected start in the Grade 2 Laffit Pincay next Sunday.

The 3-year-old son of Omaha Beach breezed five furlongs in 1:00.0, fourth fastest of 89 at the distance. This marked his fifth timed work since his last race.

Nevada Beach captured the Goodwood (G1) at Santa Anita on Sept. 27, posting a 101 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form. He placed seventh in the Breeders' Cup Classic (G1) at Del Mar on Nov. 1. He won the Los Alamitos Derby (G3) at Los Alamitos Race Course on June 28.
