Mystik Dan drilled at Churchill Downs on Sunday ahead of his start in next Saturday’s Grade 1 Stephen Foster at Churchill Downs.

The 4-year-old son of Goldencents breezed five furlongs in 1:00, third fastest of 27 at the distance. This was his first timed work since running in the Blame at Churchill Downs.

Mystik Dan won the Blame on May 31, after tracking the pace for most of the race. Before that, he finished second in the Lake Ouachita at Oaklawn and wound up ninth in the Pegasus World Cup Invitational (G1) at Gulfstream on January 25.
