Sunday works: Gosger leads graded winners on tab
Gosger drilled at Churchill Downs on Sunday ahead of Friday's Grade 2 Clark at Churchill Downs.
The son of Nyquist came home third in the Fayette (G3) at Keeneland last time out.
The 3-year-old breezed four furlongs in 48.8 seconds, 19th fastest of 125 at the distance. This marked his second timed work since placing third in the Fayette (G3).
Gosger captured the Lexington (G3) at Keeneland on April 12 earning an 87 Beyer Speed Figure, according to Daily Racing Form. After that, he finished second in the Preakness (G1) at Pimlico on May 17. Before the Lexington, he broke his maiden at Gulfstream Park on Feb. 15.
Gosger has a career record of 7: 2-3-1 with earnings of $939,575 for owner Harvey Clarke Racing Stables LLC.
