Oscar Performance, a multiple Grade 1 winner who closed his career in Saturday's Breeders' Cup Mile, will stand at stud for a $20,000 fee, Mill Ridge Farm has announced.

According to a news release, Oscar Performance, the 4-year-old son of Kitten's Joy, returned to Mill Ridge on Sunday. He will be available for inspection Tuesday through Friday. Contact Kim Poulin (
kpoulin@millridge.com) for more information.

Oscar Performance, a Brian Lynch trainee who ran Lasix-free, finished last of 14 in the Mile. His break was less-than-ideal, and so too was the soft ground. Earlier this year, he broke a 20-year-old track record in winning Belmont Park's Poker (G3) in his season debut. Later, after pulled up in the Arlington Million, he returned to win the Woodbine Mile (G1).

Going back to his 2-year-old season, Oscar Performance won the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. He was also a top-level winner of Arlington's Secretariat Stakes (G1) at age 3.

The Amerman Racing homebred completed his career 15: 8-0-1 with earnings of $2.3 million.
