Stephanie's Kitten back on Churchill turf

Stephanie's Kitten, winner of the G2 Breeders' Cup Juvenile Filly Turf last fall and 3rd in her G1 Ashland synthetic return at Keeneland, is back on friendly turf footing for Friday's $150,000 Edgewood Stakes at Churchill Downs.

Stephanie's Kitten won two graded races last year and today's pilot John Velazquez was aboard for both. She probably needed her last and can spring forward second off the shelf for Wayne Catalano.

Run A Risk continues to improve for Rusty Arnold. The 3-year-old daughter of Distorted Humor exits a sharp Keeneland turf win and figures to stalk the pace under James Graham.

More Than Love will break from the rail under profitable turf rider Corey Nakatani. She flopped in a graded synthetic affair at Turfway (blinkers on) last time but she likes turf and removes the hood for this.

June Cleaver, Firehouse Red, Lily Hannah, Miz Ida, Disposablepleasure, Goldrush Girl, Treasured Up, Anna Sophia, Dame Marie, Welcome Dance, Matching Skies, and also-eligible Koko Loca complete the lineup.
