Three Chimneys announced today that Strong Mandate, Tiznow's only Grade 1 winning two-year-old colt will shuttle to Chile to stand Southern Hemisphere stud duty at Agricola Icha Solari Ltda. Perhaps the best-bred son of Tiznow at stud, he is out of the Deputy Minister mare Clear Mandate, a three time Grade 1 winner of over $1 million. His second dam is Grade 1 winner Dream Deal who is a half sister to 7 time Grade 1 winner Crème Fraiche ($4,024,727), herself the dam of champion To the Victory. His third dam is Grade 1 Delaware Handicap winner Likely Exchange. Strong Mandate’s first four dams averaged an astonishing 40 starts each.

"We are excited to stand Strong Mandate at our farm. He represents the caliber of stallion we are looking to provide to our Breeders. A winner of the historic Hopeful Stakes by a record margin, Strong Mandate has an incredible pedigree, with 4 consecutive generations of G1 winners, and is an exceptional physical specimen." said Owner, Icha Solari, from Agricola Icha Solari Ltda.

“Strong Mandate got a very good book of mares in his first US season, and Three Chimneys is  focused on making him a success in this Market.  However, the opportunity presented itself to associate with a top quality farm like Agricola Icha Solari Ltda. and it fit with Three Chimneys' goal of expanding it's base through mutually beneficial relationships. Hopefully Strong Mandate can emulate the success of Exchange Rate, who has G1 winners in both hemispheres.” said Grant Williamson, Director of Stallion Nominations & Sales at Three Chimneys Farm.

The transaction was brokered by Sullivan Bloodstock and Bowling Bloodstock.
