Springboard Mile 2018: Post positions, odds and more
Sunday's $400,000 Springboard Mile at Remington Park ends the weekend on a high note and also wraps up official qualifiers for 2-year-olds targeting the 2019 Kentucky Derby. Eleven juveniles signed on to run with Epic Dreamer, a Belmont maiden special weight winner, the morning line favorite from the rail.
Trainer Steve Asmussen conditions five in this field -- he's also nearing a record for wins in a single Remington meet, with this the final card -- and New York-bred stakes winner Bankit leads his contingent. Another shipper in, Dunph, is a stakes winner looking to rebound from his last out performance in the Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes (G2) over an off track at Churchill Downs.
