Richi earned the highest Brisnet Speed Rating among last week's stakes winners for her performance in Saturday's Grade 2 Santa Maria at Santa Anita. Antonio Fresu was in the irons for the gate-to-wire victory going 1 1/16 miles at Santa Anita.

The 5-year-old mare, a Group 1 winner in her native Chile, joined Bob Baffert's barn last year and finished second in her U.S. debut. She opened the year with a win in the Las Flores (G3) then was third in the Santa Monica (G2) and second in the Beholder Mile (G1). She also got a 102 Beyer Speed Figure for her performance.

Last week's highest Beyer, 109, went to First Mission, winner of the Oaklawn Handicap (G2) with Flavien Prat aboard. The 5-year-old son of Street Sense edged clear in the final furlong to win by two lengths for trainer Brad Cox. He also got a 103 Brisnet rating.
