Two New Year's Eve runners at Parx tallied the highest speed figures among last week's stakes winners.

Irish Maxima, winner of the Mrs. Claus, and Nelson Avenue, winner of the Blitzen, both received 109 Brisnet Speed Ratings and 101 Beyer Speed Figures for their efforts.

Irish Maxima, a 4-year-old daughter of Maximus Mischief trained by John Servis, has won four of her last five starts, with a second two back in a Mahoning Valley stakes. Nelson Avenue, a 6-year-old gelding by Into Mischief, got his first win since September after finishing second in the Forty Niner (G3) and eighth in the Cigar Mile (G2).

Cyclone State, who picked up 10 Kentucky Derby qualifying points with his win in the Jerome, earned a 93 Brisnet and 84 Beyer. Coal Battle, who won the weekend's other Derby qualifier, the Smarty Jones, got an 82 Brisnet and 84 Beyer.

The San Vicente (G2) is not a points prep but Barnes might have put himself on the Derby trail with a win Saturday, earning a 94 Brisnet and 94 Beyer.
