If there were any questions about White Abarrio ahead of Saturday's Grade 1 Pegasus World Cup Invitational at Gulfstream Park, he answered them emphatically with a stakes-record 6 1/4-length win.

Back with trainer Saffie Joseph Jr., the 6-year-old son of Race Day and jockey Irad Ortiz Jr. covered the 1 1/8 miles in 1:48.05. He earned a 104 Brisnet Speed Rating and a 109 Beyer Speed Figure to lead the list of last week's fastest stakes winners.

Another 6-year-old, Spirit of St Louis, was second on the list with a 100 Brisnet and 102 Beyer for his win in the Pegasus World Cup Turf (G1).

In the only points prep for Kentucky Derby 2025, Speed King got a 92 Brisnet and 93 Beyer for his win in the Soutwest (G3) at Oaklawn.
