Speed figures: These are last week's 20 fastest stakes winners

Our Last Chance, a 7-year-old gelding making his 29th career start, earned last week's highest Horse Racing Nation speed figure, 131, for his win in the black-type John Wayne Stakes at Prairie Meadows.

Ridden by Walter De La Cruz, Our Last Chance was in second at every call before taking the lead approaching the sixteenth pole and holding on to win by a neck.

He also got a 91 Brisnet Speed Rating and and 85 Beyer Speed Figure for his effort.

The highest Brisnet ratings of the week, 97, went to Ohio Derby (G3) winner Mo Plex, Chicago (G2) winner Vahva and Musical Romance winner Haulin Ice. Vahva also got the highest Beyer, 97.
