Mi Bago earned a 144 Horse Racing Nation speed figure for his win Wednesday in the Kingston Stakes, the highest HRN figure among last week's stakes winners.

Trained by Mark Casse and ridden by Jose Ortiz, the 4-year-old gelding by Vekoma led the 1 1/16 turf contest at every call to win by 4 1/2 lengths over favorite Spirit of St Louis. The win followed two eighth-place stakes finishes for Mi Bago after he opened the year with an optional-claiming allowance win.
