Cornucopian earned a 132 Horse Racing Nation speed figure for his win in the Grade 3 San Carlos at Santa Anita on Sunday. That was the highest HRN speed figure among last week's stakes winners.

Cornucopian, a 4-year-old son of Into Mischief, won the seven-furlong dirt sprint by 2 3/4 lengths with Juan Hernandez riding. Trained by Bob Baffert, Cornucopia won his career debut last year in February, then was fourth in the Arkansas Derby (G1). He had one more start, finishing fourth in an optional-claiming allowance, before taking off the rest of the year. He returned in January with an optional-claiming victory ahead of Sunday's graded-stakes win.
