Speed figures: These are last week's 20 fastest stakes winners

Echo Sound, a 3-year-old filly trained by Rusty Arnold, earned a 142 Horse Racing Nation speed figure for her win Thursday in the Grade 3 Victory Ride at Saratoga, the highest HRN figure among last week's stakes winners.

Ridden by Luis Saez, the Echo Town filly won the 6 1/2-furlong dirt sprint by 4 1/4 lengths.

It was the second win in two starts this year for the Echo Sound, who also won the Miss Preakness (G3) in May. She also got a 105 Brisnet Speed Rating and a 101 Beyer Speed Figure. Overall, she has five wins and a second in six career starts.

The second-highest HRN speed figure, 137, went to Sweet Azteca, who led gate to wire to win the Great Lady M (G2) by by 1 1/2 lengths with Juan Hernandez riding. It was the first start of the year for the 5-year-old Sharp Azteca mare, who improved her record to 8: 6-0-1. She also earned a 103 Brisnet and a 102 Beyer.

The highest Beyer of the week, 105, went to Magnitude, winner of the Iowa Derby. The highest Brisnet rating went to Phileas Fogg, winner of the Suburban (G2).
