Six-year-old Emmanuel, winless since March 2024, earned a 132 Horse Racing Nation speed figure for his win Friday in the Pennsylvania Governor's Cup, the highest HRN figure among last week's stakes winners.

Friday's race at Penn National was Emmanuel's eighth start for trainer Mike Maker since the son of More Than Ready was transferred from Todd Pletcher last September.

As the odds-on favorite, Emmanuel sat off the pace and overcame his rivals in the stretch, winning by 3 1/4 lengths under jockey Jomar Torres. He also earned an 88 Brisnet Speed Rating and a 92 Beyer Speed Figure for the race.
