Speed figures: These are last week's 10 fastest stakes winners
Simcoe got the highest Horse Racing Nation speed figure among last week's stakes winners in North America, earning a 139 for his win in the Grade 3 Vigil at Woodbine.
It was the second straight graded win for the 5-year-old gelding, who scored in the Bold Venture (G3) in his prior start. Trained by Katerina Vassilieva, Simcoe has finished first or second in his last nine starts.
He also earned a 96 Brisnet Speed Rating and 100 Beyer Speed Figure for his performance.
Itsallgoodman also earned a 139 figure for his 9 1/2-length win in the Red Diamond Express at Century Mile. It was the second stakes win of the year for the 4-year-old gelding trained by Gonzalo Anderson.
