Smooth Air changes barns

Owner Brian Burns of Mount Joy Stable has transferred Grade 2 winner Smooth Air to trainer Chad Brown, a Mechanicville native.
The move was made after Smooth Air ran second in the Grade 1 Met Mile on Monday at Belmont Park for his previous trainer, 71-year-old Bennie Stutts.
"Bennie Stutts was very kind to give us all the information we needed about him so far," Brown told Daily Racing Form today. "We're going to try and keep him where he's at. [Stutts] had him going very good."
