Smart Enough drive to Highlander tally

Edith R. Dixon's SMART ENOUGH (Horse Chestnut [SAf]) put on a display of raw speed in Sunday's $184,834 Highlander S. (Can-G3), the first stakes on Queen's Plate Day at Woodbine. The John Fisher charge, who had captured the 2007 Highlander but skipped last year's renewal, sprinted clear early and was never threatened thereafter, reeling off six furlongs in 1:08 1/5 on the good turf course.
