Skysurfers Flies Home in Godolphin Mile

SKYSURFERS continued trainer Saeed Bin Suroor's and jockey Frankie Dettori's good record in the Godolphin Mile when he defeated Mufarrh in the Group 2 contest at Meydan on Saturday.

Bin Suroor has now won the race eight times, while Dettori was recording his sixth success, and the pair looked to have little to worry about as Skysurfers travelled smoothly into the final turn.

By that stage Richard Hills had kicked the Ali Al Raihe-trained Mufarrh into the lead, but they were worn down by a determined Dettori, who first won the race on Allied Forces in 1998.
