He didn't make as many headlines as other weekend runners, but 5-year-old Skelly got the highest Brisnet Speed Rating and Beyer Speed Figure among last week's stakes winners.

Trained by Steve Asmussen, the gelding led at every call for his seventh win in a row in the listed King Cotton Stakes at Oaklawn on Saturday, earning a 104 Brisnet rating and a 105 Beyer.

That latter figure put Skelly in a tie with Nysos for the highest Beyer of the weekend and of the year. Nysos earned his 105, and a 100 Brisnet rating, for his 7 1/2-length win in the Grade 3 Robert B. Lewis.

Mystik Dan also earned triple digits, 101 from both Brisnet and Beyer, for his eight-length win in the Southwest (G3).

Here are the figures for last week's highest-rated stakes winners, ranked by Brisnet Speed Ratings, with Beyer Speed Figures from Daily Racing Form and TimeformUS Speed Figures where available.
